Your mother and father always so welcoming and made life fun and an adventure.

Doris Kotek, local author and historical preservationist, has left a lasting legacy to the village and township of Bangor. Her recent books
preserve important primary sources on Bangor's history ranging from the Bangor Independent, our local newspaper, to historical photos and letters.
Many of her own writings captured the spirit of growing up in the farm community near Bangor. May you rest in peace, Doris!
