Condolences for Kevin Arnold

Karen - So sorry for your loss. We will never forget the special times at the Peddler and the special times as neighbors. Where did all the noise come from? We always looked at you two as "true" friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

Prayers and thoughts for you Karen, family and friends. Darrel and I always had such a good time at the Hungry Peddler. It was not just having good food it was having fun and joking with you, Kevin and all your employees and customers. Kevin made the best Brandy Old Fashioneds for Darrel.Lynette

My mother, Sue Besl-Miller- Kline, was very good friends with Kevin's mother. I remember the house on La Crosse street where they lived. It was across from my Grandma Besl's and Aunt Mary Begeman's and mine. There is only one house left now. I remember Kevin, Scooter, Button and Leslie from my childhood. I moved away to join the military but did reconnect as an through my mom when I returned. She so loved Kevin and the kids and did frequent the restaurant often before she passed in 2000. I rember Kevin was a character, ever the jokster. I am so sorry to hear that he suffered from this vile disease. It sounds as though he had a wonderful life up to and through it all thanks to his loving wife. Say hello to my mom and grandma for me Kevin. You now have the best seat in the house! Behave up there, not too many pranks, we wouldn't want you to get kicked out! ? To the family, may your wonderful memories bring you peace and comfort at this very difficult time. I am very sorry for your loss. God Bless.

I was sorry to hear of Kevin's passing. Reading the obit of his humor reminds me of him constantly walking in the bar and telling me he hit my motorcycle. Funerals are for the living and not the dead, so RIP Kevin and my thoughts are with the family

My heartfelt condolences to Kevin's family. My family has known the Arnold family since we were kids; we grew up within a block or two of each other and went to school together. Yes, Kevin was definitely a mischievous kid, and sometimes, a downright brat. But he turned out well and I'm glad he was able to live such a full and happy life. I suspect Karen may have had alot to do with that. I like to think of those of us from La Crosse who've had to endure some of the worst hardships as having "Yankee resilience", and I think Kevin must have had that, in spades. I'm happy he was able to travel and make the best of the life he was dealt. So, Godspeed, Kevin. You made it to the finish line with grace and perseverence. Well done, you.

My condolences to all of Kevin's family and friends on his passing. I had not seen Kevin in many years, though still have wonderful memories of our grade school days at Washburn school. Used to walk to school together most days.
