Nandita and I are deeply saddened to hear of your mother’s passing, Joydeb. I remember her from our grade school days as a kind, gracious, and learned presence, and my parents always spoke of her with great warmth and respect. She was someone I looked up to and drew motivation from. Though time and distance have passed, she remained in my mind. Moments like these remind us of life’s inevitability and how, in the end, we are all held in memory. We extend our heartfelt condolences to your entire family.
