Dear Kathy, April, Don, and Michael: Just happened upon your dad's obituary by accident. Please accept our deepest sympathies. He was a great man. He loved you and your mom to the moon and back and loved to tell stories about you. There are so many memories I have with your dad. He opened up a huge world to me and I am so thankful. We had office outings and he took the staff trout fishing, grouse hunting, golfing, and showed us his beautiful back yard. He was a great story teller and loved telling stories about his beagles (I think one of them was named Barney) He said beagles have a very distinctive bark and proceeded to show me how beagles bark. :-) He had such a great mind and truly cared for his clients. He also had a very creative mind filling the office and your house with his paintings and sculptures. I will always remember his laugh which was quick and filled a room. I laughed sometimes because he laughed. I can hear it now. I hope you guys get together and reminisce about your dad and have a few laughs but remember his zest for life. May be take piano lessons in our 70's and 80's to keep your mind sharp like he said he was doing. May God bless you guys as you move forward.
