Obituary for James W. Adams Jr.

Jim was a Conductor on the Burlington Northern Railroad for 40 years before his retirement. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren, deer hunting, bear hunting, trap shooting, fishing, and horseback riding.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; son, Brian Adams; daughter, Dawn (Jason) Gerke and their children, Hunter (Hannah), Weston, and Hailey Gerke; son, Kevin (Brenda) Adams and their children, Levi, Silas, and Elin Adams; and Karen Adams (Dan Franzini) and their children, Vada and Camila Franzini. Jim is also survived by his brother, Doug (Diane) Adams and family; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arthur and Theresa (Neuchter) Weber.

In accordance with Jim’s wishes, his body will be cremated and a private graveside service with military honors will be in Neshonoc Cemetery, West Salem.
