Obituary for Judith A. “Judi” Forcier

She was born July 9, 1948 in La Crosse to Harold and Florence (Enyeart) Worchel. Judi grew up in La Crosse and was a graduate of Central High School. She then attended La Crosse Technical College, alongside her sister, studying dental hygiene. She married Dave Forcier and together they had a son, Corey. They lived in Indiana, Iowa, and Georgia, moving to accommodate Dave’s sales career. Judi and Dave later divorced and in 1996, she and Corey moved back to La Crosse. Judi worked as a teacher's aide at Irving Pertzsch Elementary School for many years until her retirement.

Judi enjoyed reading, had a unique affection for squirrels, and LOVED her Turner Classic Movies. She will be deeply missed by her family.

Survivors include her son, Corey (Mary) Forcier; granddaughters, Olivia and Isabella Forcier; brother, Jerry (Kay) Worchel; nieces, Amy (Rick) Pabst, Shelly (Gordon) Clancy, Gabby (Blair) Williams, Debbie Dienstel, and Laura (Randy) Beumer; nephews, Troy (Amy) Forcier, Todd (Tammy) Forcier, Larry (Kristen) Golba and Scott M. Sanborn; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

Judi was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Joyce Golba; and nephew, Ben Worchel.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., on April 12, 2025, at Fredrickson Funeral Home, Woodruff Chapel, 4239 Mormon Coulee Rd., La Crosse. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Wisconsin Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association https://www.alz.org/wi
