Obituary for Florence Olson

She was born in Rising Sun, Wisconsin, to Joseph and Margaret (Wood) Dolan on July 17, 1928.

On July 3, 1948, Florence married Herbert Olson and they resided in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Florence worked for many years as a cook at Johnnie’s Restaurant in La Crosse before retiring.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Margaret; husband, Herbert; brothers, James, William, Francis, Donald, Paul, Charles, Phillip, and John; and an infant sister, Theresa.

She is survived by her sister, Mary; sisters-in-law, Gale and Shizue; her children, David (Connie) of Wisconsin, Robert (Connie) of Utah, Gary (Julie) of Washington, Janet (Bobby) of Minnesota, and Kathleen of Tennessee; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery following a private graveside service.
