Obituary for Louis "Bud" Herlitzke, Jr.

He was born November 11, 1928, to Louis Sr., and Helen (Roesler) Herlitzke. On July 25, 1959, Bud married Evelyn Anderson at the Coon Valley Lutheran Church.

Survivors include three children, Tom (Kate), Dean (Penny), and Carol; three grandchildren, Connor, Kelly, and Jake; one great-grandchild, Sky; and many nieces and nephews.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Evelyn in 2013; and four brothers, Lloyd, Clarence, Paul, and Eugene.

A private funeral service will be held. To honor his service to our country, military honors will be rendered by the Roy L. Vingers American Legion Post 52 of La Crosse and the United States Marine Corps Funeral Honor Guard.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
