Obituary for Lynn Marie Koopmann

Lynn Marie Koopmann was called home to be with the Lord during the Christmas season, a time that reflected the faith, love, and quiet beauty she carried throughout her life. She was a kind and gentle soul whose life was defined by devotion to family, unwavering faith, and a heart that loved deeply.

Lynn was the beloved wife of Kenneth Koopmann and a deeply loving mother to Justin Koopmann (Ashley), Jason Koopmann (Kinsey), and Kristy Roy (Shaun). She was a devoted grandmother to Cameron and Alexa Johnson, Isaiah Roy, and joyfully awaited the arrival of her newest grandbaby, Isaac Roy. She is also survived by her brother, John Ruegg.

An amazing homemaker, Lynn created a warm and welcoming home where others always felt cared for. Family fondly remembers her thoughtful (and sometimes ambitious) way of preparing for guests — convinced that even a short visit meant the house should be freshly painted or a new project completed. It was her way of showing love and making others feel special.

Lynn had a lifelong love of horses, a reflection of her gentle spirit and appreciation for God’s creation. Her family finds peace in imagining her now restored and free — guided by angels and riding peacefully in heaven.

In keeping with Lynn’s wishes, she will be cremated, and a private family ceremony will be held to celebrate her life, her faith, and the love she so freely gave. She wished to be honored in a personal and meaningful way, surrounded by her closest and most loved family.
