Obituary for Clyde A. "Cal" Lee
Clyde A. “Cal” Lee, 81, of Onalaska, passed away April 27, 2026, at the Morrow Home Community in Sparta, Wisconsin with his loving family by his side.
He was born December 29, 1944, in La Crosse, to William T. and Lucille (Umphrey) Lee. Cal was raised in Onalaska and was baptized and confirmed at Christ Ev. Lutheran Church in West Salem.
On September 19, 1981, Cal married Betty Lueck at Christ Ev. Lutheran Church and together they shared nearly 45 years of loving marriage.
Cal was employed with various companies in the area including, WWTC, several trucking companies, Walzcraft, and YMCA North. He enjoyed Ham Radio, call sign KB9MAO, and enjoyed conversations with others around the world. He also enjoyed watching old movies, looking at old cars and tinkering with anything electrical.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; their children, Angela (Bryan) Sagen, Abigail (Kyle) Miedema, and Austin (Rebecca) Lee; grandchildren, Caleb Lee, Nicholas Sagen, Tyler Sagen, Mason Sagen, and Emma Miedema; sister, Lora (David) Bradford; sisters-in-law, Doris (James) Gautsch, Marilyn Lueck, Ruth (Joseph) Kendall, and Barbara Lee; brother-in-law, Carl (Donna) Lueck; and nieces and nephews.
Cal was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ronda (Bruce) Bicknell and Karen Buckholtz; brother, Richard Lee; and brother-in-law, Richard Lueck.
A Christian Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Christ Ev. Lutheran Church, 500 Park St., West Salem. Rev. Don Frelitz will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m., until the time of service, Tuesday, at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to Christ Ev. Lutheran Church in West Salem or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Cherry and Terry at the Morrow Home for all the care and compassion they provided.
