Condolences for Myron O. Thompson
Myron and I spent a lot of time together and I hope he is resting in peace. While life for him was challenging, he always found little things to love - like his kids and grandkids and Jager. He would have given the shirt off his back for his friends and family and always stood up against what he believed was unjust. He is missed.

Myron was a co worker of mine at Alsum and I will always remember his ring tone on his phone. If you ever hear a duck quacking, you knew Myron was near by. Myron worked hard, played hard and was a great friend to all who got to know him.
May God give comfort to his family and know that he is enjoying a much better life now in heaven.
You will be missed Myron.

Remember Myron as kids and spending a lot of time at the Thompson household as a friend of Merlin's. Very sorry to hear of his passing, and extend my sympathy to Merlin, Frances and Kimmie Sue and their families....a young man gone too soon.

We will always remember Myron in many positive ways-with a big smile and a great sense of humor, always great with a story.
Our favorite story has to be when he joined a group of employees to participate in the Crazy Legs Classic 8k run or 2-mile walk and somehow ended up in the wrong starting line. He had planned on the 2-mile walk but ended up running the 8k with little to no preparation. In typical Myron fashion, he gave it his best effort, and we even still have video from the local news report of him crossing the finish line with his hands in the air. We will all miss him. He was a great guy!
