Condolences for Verner Dahl

Our most sincere condolences to Vern’s family and friends. Mr. Dahl taught while we were at West Salem High School. Scott had him for Industrial Arts. I only knew who he was and didn’t have him as a teacher. Several years ago Vern stopped into West Salem Insurance just to visit with me at my desk. He knew who I was and must have felt comfortable speaking with me. We had a couple interesting and fun visits. He was knowledgeable, interesting and very witty. He made me laugh alot! I will never forget those two visits. I felt really special that we would want to come and chat with me! Rest in Peace Mr. Dahl.

Wish to express my sincere sympathy to family and friends.

With deepest sympathies in the loss of your father. He was a kind man with not many words. I'm not sure where he got the courage to teach Drivers Education behind the wheel! We sure had some laughs. With love and sympathy to all.

We were certainly saddened in the passing of Vern, but celebrate his beautiful life faithful to the Lord while on earth. We always enjoyed stopping by his home when in the area to see his projects and his visits to the Iron Range were always looked forward to. If any of you are ever in the Fond du Lac area, we would love to have you stop in. Our address is 118 Martin Place, Fond du Lac, WI. With heartfelt sympathy, Tim & Pat Lanari

Every room in our house has a reminder of Vern in it. Also some of our children have reminders of his craftmanship in their homes. Gene learned lots of useful stuff from your dad and so did I. When Gene would attempt to do something, I would correct him and say, "Vern would do it this way". That did not go over too well some times. Vern was a very honest man and a good friend. We have lots of great memories of our time spent with him. Extending our sympathy, Gene and Georgia
