To Susan Bastyr and her Family Derek and Denise Bastyr and Granddaughter Mia Kline. Dick will always be 'Dickie Paul'to me .That eager smile and chuckle when he told a riddle or a joke...He was so eager to please every one at the large Breening family get togethers. He had plenty of jokesters in the family to learn from.He was the youngest cousin and there were such a large bunch of us born in the mid -1930's and 1940's.It must have been hard to break into that gang!! Over the years, families came together less often and we all went separate ways..Our moms tried to keep the families in touch ,but we only met at weddings, graduations and funerals.dick tried to connect in years past and we did have good conversations but we never had the inperson cousins meet-up Mary Pierce had tried to do after Bob Pierce's death.I'm so sorry we didnt try harder to make it happen.I apologize for this rambling note especially now..But I really regret I didn't come in person to say goodby and tell your family our thoughts are with you now.
