Please accept my sincere sympathies for the passing of your mother, David. Your family had brought me joy for many years, beginning with my first days working for the Village of West Salem over 30 years ago. From my perch at the front desk, I looked forward to the daily break of visiting with your grandparents, Doris and Roy. Their relationship was unique, and their banter was delightful. You need to take care of yourselves during this time, and take comfort in your memories.

I had the pleasure of being pen-pals with Georgia since the age of 14 or 15. We shared many joys and tribulations with each other. Sadly, we never met in person, although we were presented with numerous opportunities. I will always consider Georgia one of my dear friends. I will miss her greatly and send loving condolences, prayers for comfort.
