Funeral Follow Up and Grief Support Information
Holding a Remembrance Funeral Service for your loved one is the first step in the grieving process. Family members and friends are able to say their goodbyes, and have the opportunity to share their feelings with one another. The grieving process does not stop when the service is over. In the weeks and months following, we continue to need others to lean on for encouragement and guidance. For that reason, many local and national support groups have been formed. These groups provide a comforting environment for expressing emotions through each phase of the grieving process.
There is no one or right way to grieve. Writing your remembrance can help. But in times when you find you need additional help or someone to talk with we have Information on how to contact area grief support groups and individuals trained to help you manage your grief.
A number of options are available for grief support, these are listed below. You can also discuss grief counseling with your funeral director. Our staff is also available to help you make contact with a support person.
