Obituary for Kyle Lee Olson

Kyle Lee Olson of Bangor, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021, at 21 years of age. He was born September 30, 1999, in La Crosse, to Howard Olson and Theresa Striepling. Kyle attended Bangor schools until graduating in 2018, then continued his education at WTC in La Crosse for computer programming. He was an employee of Woodman's for four years and had recently started at the Kwik Trip Distribution Center. Kyle was an avid Lego collector and techie, building his own computer from the ground up. He was an incredibly loved young man with a great sense of humor who never failed to make people smile. He was deeply generous, donating all his savings to a cause he greatly cared about. Survivors include his parents, Howard Olson and Theresa Striepling; sisters, Amber Connot and Olivia Striepling; brother, Kenneth Morman; nieces, Brooklyn Gonzalez, Abilene Connot, Mckenzie Morman; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delores and Herbert Olson and brother-in-law, Christopher Connot. Private services will be held. A celebration of life is being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
