Obituary for Anna Marie Thill
Anna Marie Thill, 86, of Bangor went to her Heavenly home on August 26, 2021.
She was born April 27, 1935, in Sparta, to Herbert and Marian Fennigkoh. On December 17, 1955, Anna married Harold Leo Thill At St John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Sparta. Together they farmed for years, she also worked at Metallics in Onalaska until her retirement in 2000. Anna has been a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church since 1970.
She enjoyed knitting, gospel music, cooking, watching sports, and mostly spending time with her family and friends.
Anna is survived by her, son, Mike (Barb) Thill of West Salem; two daughters, Laurie Kline of LaCrosse and Lisa Fawcett (Scott Williams) of Holmen; nine grandchildren, Cheryl, Ryan, Amy, and Kelsey Thill all of West Salem, Miranda Tourville-Thill of Hillsboro, Lindsay (Terry) Wood of Bangor, Matthew (Katy) Fawcett of Onalaska, Chris (Molly) Fawcett of Galesville, and Monica (Mark) Gusa of Spring Valley, MN; five great-grandchildren, Callan, Eva, Waylon, Charlotte and Athena; a very dear person to her, Jerri Lynn Johnson who she always considered her family; sister, Betty (Jim) Kroener of Bangor; two brothers, Roger (Diane) Fennigkoh of Sparta and Steve (Sandy) Fennigkoh of Norwalk; two sisters-in-law, Loretta Fennigkoh of Sparta and Dorothy (Harlan) Yahnke of Onalaska; and one brother-in-law, Sherman Roberts
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold "Huncie" Thill; her precious son, Tom Thill; two sons-in-law, Bryan Fawcett and Denny Kline; one sister, Donnis Roberts and two brothers, Donald and Stanley Fennigkoh.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Sept 3, 2021, at St Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Bangor. Rev. Andrew Schultz will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Bangor. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m., until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, and from 10:00 a.m., until the time of service, Friday, both at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Bangor.
