Obituary for Katherine A. Mayer

Katherine (Kathy) Mayer, 83 passed away on Sunday August 15, 2021, at Hillview Health Center, after a battle with Alzheimer's. Katherine (Fairweather) Mayer was born August 14, 1939, in Santa Monica, California. She grew up in California where she attended Santa Monica High School. Kathy married Erwin Mayer, in California and later moved back to Erwin's hometown of La Crosse, Wisconsin. Kathy loved spending time with friends and family. She attended Faith Baptist Church in La Crosse. Kathy worked at several La Crosse businesses, including Trane company, and Inland Printing. Kathy's family would like to thank the staff at Hillview Healthcare for the care she was given. She is survived by her children, Doug Mayer of Eau Claire and Diane (Tom) Knothe of La Crosse and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Mary and Jack. Face covering and social distancing will be observed at her service. Arrangements are pending and will be announced.
