Obituary for Abbillyne Eve Mitchell

On Saturday, September 4, 2021, Abbillyne Eve Mitchell of La Crosse, formerly of East Troy, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 16. Abbillyne was born on February 24, 2005, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin to Jessica (Baumeister) Mitchell and Jon Mitchell. Abbillyne is survived by her mother Jessica Mitchell; brother, Wyatt Mitchell; father and step-mother, Jon and Amy (Avery) Mitchell; step-siblings Isaac, Jeremiah and Brooklyn Avery; grandmother, Susan (Pieters) Weeden; grandfather, Michael Baumeister; grandfather, David Mitchell; and grandparents, Wally and Gidget (Mitchell) Brown. he is also survived by her aunts and uncles, John and Darcie (Baumeister) Breidel, Patrick, Linnea (Weeden) O’Toole, Grace, Derek and Brett Mitchell, Robert and Sharlea (Baumeister) Dahlberg, David and Erin (Burke) Mitchell, and Wendy Mitchell; and cousins, Josh and Bridget (Misch) Baumeister, Morgan and Mackenzie Breidel, Rowan O’Toole, Raelyn Dahlberg, and Elias, Isaiah and Harrison Mitchell. Abbillyne was preceded in death by her grandfather, George Weeden who spent lots of time with her at one of her favorite places to visit…”Grandma and Grandpa’s” in East Troy, Wisconsin, petting the horses and running in the gardens. Abbillyne had a love for fun and life right from the start. She was always up for an adventure of any kind, and loved just riding in the car, no matter the destination. Abbillyne loved her time spent on the East Troy High School Cheer Team and enjoyed attending competitions as well as performances at the hometown football games. Her friends and family from East Troy remained close in her heart when she moved to La Crosse, Wisconsin with her mom, Jessie and brother, Wyatt. Though she missed her days in East Troy, Abbillyne was so very happy with her new life in La Crosse. “The Three '' found the perfect home just steps from close family and the La Crosse community welcomed them with open arms. Some of Abbillyne’s happiest days were these past few months and she was so excited to begin her junior year at Central High School. It is hard to put to words the light that Abbillyne brought to all those around her. She had a smile that was big and beautiful and truly lit up the room. Her sweet energy was calming and kind and her love of road trips (which only grew stronger as she grew older) was surpassed perhaps only by her love of Harry Styles and One Direction. Most days, you could find Abbillyne cuddling with her dog Spencer “Spoop”, listening to music and hanging out with friends. She loved her friends and family completely, and gave every relationship all she had. It has been said that “when we love big, we lose big”...and our love for her was so big that the loss of Abbillyne is truly incomprehensible and has left a void within all who knew and loved her. We will spend the rest of our days loving her and missing her. Mom: “God Bless You” Abbillyne: “Keep you safe and strong” These words were said each night at bedtime, and Abbillyne’s family now wish them to all the people who have offered love and support during this tragic time. A celebration of Abbillyne's life will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Jandt-Fredrickson Funeral Home, Woodruff Chapel, 4239 Mormon Coulee Rd., La Crosse. Pastor Debbie King-Quale will officiate. A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m., until the time of service, Saturday, at the funeral home.
