Obituary for William (Bill) Noffke

We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, William (Bill) Noffke.

Bill died at home unexpectedly from a massive heart attack. He was born on July 18, 1955 to Lillian (Groth) and Vern Noffke. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Mark, and son, Levi.

Bill is survived by his wife, Lois (Thompson) of 46 years; sons Luke of La Crosse, and Brett (Cassie) of Viroqua; Granddaughter Lana of Holmen, and step Granddaughter Aiden of Viroqua; and many in-laws and cousins.

Bill retired from the La Crosse County Sherriff's Department as a jailer for over 26 years and made many friendships over the years.

He was an avid Packer and Brewers fan. In addition to spending time with his sons and dogs, he enjoyed the many memories made with his good friends, Kevin Gobel and Bob Johnson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Stoddard Park Shelter B.
