Obituary for Norman K.Rowe

He was born on October 5, 1938 the son of Kenneth and Esther (Krupke) Rowe in Warren, IL. He graduated from Warren High School 1956.

Norman married Sandra Townsend and many years later married Maureen “Cookie” Conway. He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for 30 years as well as being a truck driver. He was a member of the Lions Club, in West Salem, where he served as District Governor and was voted Lion of the year several times.

Norman is survived by his daughters, Rene (Terry) Bowling of Kansas City, MO, and Jodi (Paul) Andrews of Monroe; step-children, Dorothy (Kevin) Goss of Hubertus, WI, Laurie (Eric Hendrickson) Arnold of Black River Falls, David Arntson of La Crosse, and James (Kathy) Arntson of La Crosse; sister, Arleta Gordon of the Chicago area; six grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and 9 step-great-grandchildren and one on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents; both of his wives; and a sister, Eleanor Rowe.

A Celebration of Norman’s Life will be held from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 pm on Sunday September 18, 2022 at Black River Beach Neighborhood Center (1433 Rose St.) in LaCrosse.
