Obituary for Tyler J. Kendhammer

He was born September 28, 1989, in La Crosse, to John and Julie (Thompson) Kendhammer. Tyler was a 2009 graduate of West Salem High School, where he played football all four years. He was very proud that the team went to and won state his senior year. In 2018, Tyler married Kacia West in La Crosse and together they had a beautiful son.

He was an avid hunter and loved deer hunting with his dad, brother, and cousins. Tyler especially enjoyed his time spent at deer camp each season.

He will be remembered by many as a jokester who pulled off epic pranks.

Survivors include his wife, Kacia; his son Jayce; his parents; siblings, Brandon Kendhammer and Nicole (Matt) Gales; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mike and Lois West; brothers-in-law, Nick (Nikki) West and Chris (Greta) West; grandmother, Patty Kendhammer; grandmother-in-law, Erika Radke; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Tyler was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
