Obituary for Gerald A. "Jerry" Jansky
He was born in LaCrosse March 19, 1932. Upon graduation in 1949 from Central High School he joined the Air Force and moved to California. It was there he met and married the love of his life Janet Albrechtson.
Note of interest : One of his first jobs while still in LaCrosse was hand setting bowling pins at a local bowling alley!
After the Air Force he worked for Douglas Aircraft (now, Boeing) and Lear Siegler before moving back to God's country in 1966.
He worked for Trane Co until his retirement in 1998.
Jerry loved, above all else, his family, spending time with his brother Tom, fishing, playing tennis, cribbage, and cards. He thoroughly enjoyed his Trane Co. camping group adventures and looked forward to them every year.
Jerry is survived by son, Eric; daughters, Jody ( Richard) Mauzy and Karen Jansky; grandchildren, Jamison ( Ann), Blake ( Brianne), Christian (Iris), Larissa, Kyra, and Myra; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Jack, Augustus, Helen, Evelyn, Maria, Legend, Legacy, Avani, Ocean, Chloe, Parker, and Emersyn; and brother, Tom (Mary Jo).
