Obituary for Donna Role "Donna Rose"

She was born August 21, 1935, in La Crosse, to Harvey and Rosetta (Severson) Storandt. Donna Rose was a graduate of Mindoro High School and worked as a secretary for a construction company for many years. In 1974, she married DeVerne Role and they shared many years of loving marriage before he preceded her in death in June of 2005.

Donna Rose always wanted to be on the go; she enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, boating, Bingo, watching the planes come in, and ice cream. Above all, her greatest joy was simply spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her.

Survivors include her three children, Tom Johnson, Tony (Doris) Johnson, and Tammy (Brent) Radcliffe; grandchildren, Grace, Zach, Cheyenne, Dalton, Raef, Eviana, Ashley, Tyler, and Aaron; sister, Harriet (Kenneth) Pfaff; brother-in-law, Earl Roberts; nephews, Keith Roberts, Sam Pfaff and Tim Pfaff.

In addition to her husband, DeVerne, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Beverly Roberts.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m., until 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2023, at Fredrickson Funeral Home, Jostad Chapel, 121 N. Youlon St., West Salem. Graveside services and burial will follow in Farmington Cemetery, Mindoro.
