Obituary for Thomas "Tom" L. Larson
Tom proudly served in the Army from 1965-1967. After his military service, he worked for Burlington Northern Railroad and also ran his own cleaning business, Tom’s Cleaning.
In his free time, Tom enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends, puttering in his workshop, spending time with his granddaughters, and telling jokes. He was known for his infamous blurbs and would always respond to the question, "How are you doing?" with, "I'm percolating." Tom was also a lifetime member of American Legion Post 52 and was honored to participate in the Freedom Honor Flight on September 11, 2021.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Karen Larson, his daughter Sheila (Steve) Mortaloni, his son Gary (Sharri) Larson, his granddaughters Ciearria (Ben) Veenstra, Sydney Mortaloni, and Katelyn Larson, his sister-in-law Bonnie Smith, his brother-in-law Jim (Darlene) Pfaff, along with his brother and sister, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Gladys Larson, and his in-laws, Merlin and Alvinia Pfaff, and brother-in-law Bob Smith.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27 from 11 am to 2 pm at Fredrickson Funeral Home, Woodruff Chapel, 4239 Mormon Coulee Rd., La Crosse, WI.
