Obituary for David M. Cavadini
David was born December 13, 1956 in La Crosse, WI to Walter & Betty (Kohn) Cavadini. He grew up on Middle Ridge where he helped out on the family farm. At the age of 18, David started driving milk truck for the family business, “Cavadini Trucking”. He was an extremely hard working and dedicated man, who drove milk truck 7 days a week; it did not matter how crazy the weather was, David was always out there driving milk truck. Unfortunately, at the age of 50 he had to stop due to medical reasons, and made the decision to sell the family milk trucking company. After a 5-year break, he drove milk truck for another company, up until his retirement in February 2023.
David enjoyed spending time with his family. Every week he felt blessed to hang around his daughter and two granddaughters. David absolutely loved listening to the Chicago Cubs on the radio. He was a very simple man; he did not talk much, but he was the best listener with the biggest heart. David was an amazing Dad and Grandpa. He will be deeply missed.
David was survived by his son, Kyle Cavadini; daughter and her husband, Jordana (Cavadini) and Robert Shelmidine; granddaughters, Nevaeh And Ella Shelmidine; one brother; and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents and his brother, Douglas Cavadini.
Services will be held at the Fredrickson Funeral Home, Bangor Chapel, in Bangor WI at 6:00PM on Friday, July 21, 2023. Msgr. Robert Hundt will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Middle Ridge, WI. A visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of service at the Funeral Home.
