Obituary for Janice M. Engen

She met the love of her life, Howard, in High School and they were married on July 1, 1950, at Elk Creek Lutheran Church in Osseo. She enjoyed bowling and golfing and was very proud tp have gotten a hole in one at Hillview Golf Course. She worked as a bookkeeper / accountant at the Coca Cola company for over 25 years.

Janice is survived by her sons, Gregory (Cathy) and Keith (Judith); grandchildren, Kevin (Heather) Engen, Amanda (Josh) Lindell, Jennifer (Wayne Ellefson Jr.), De Anna Engen, and Danni Engen; and six great-grandchildren.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Howard, her parents and siblings, Forest Olson, Joyce Austin, and Ethel Schafer.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Fredrickson Funeral Homes and Crematory, Woodruff Chapel, 4239 Mormon Coulee Rd., La Crosse, WI. Pastor Harald Bringsjord will officiate. A visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Entombment will follow at the Garden of Peace Mausoleum, at Mormon Coulee Memorial Park Cemetery in La Crosse, with lunch at the Moose Lodge at 12:00 P.M.
