Obituary for Dana A. Hesselberg-Linse

She was born December 13, 2003, in Milwaukee, Wis., and came home to her adoptive family in 2006; the daughter of Rick and Marlea (Hesselberg) Linse. Dana enjoyed participating in 4H, specifically showing rabbits at the La Crosse County Fair. She loved all animals, especially horses. Dana played volleyball during her middle school and high school years and she loved to dance.

Survivors include her parents, Rick and Marlea; three siblings, Alex, Reggie, and Shauna Hesselberg-Linse; paternal grandparents, Darol and Ruth Linse; maternal grandmother, Carol Hesselberg; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Dana was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Donald Hesselberg; her brother, Hans K. Hesselberg Linse; and aunt, Crystal Moilien.

Private services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Coulee Region Humane Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
