Obituary for Kathy A. Kuecker

She was born March 23, 1949, in La Crosse. Kathy was a 1967 graduate of Aquinas High School. In 1968, she married Harvey Goede and together they had three children. They were later divorced. On March 1, 1991, she married John Kuecker in La Crosse. Kathy was employed in clerical at Trane Company from 1968 until her retirement in 2007. She enjoyed reading, chocolate, baking, watching birds, flowers, fishing, and having lunch with longtime friends.

Survivors include her husband, John; two daughters, Angela Goede of La Crosse and Leah (Tom) Koscianski of Onalaska; two step-sons, Matt (Nicky) Kuecker of Eugene, OR and Mike (Nicole) Kuecker of La Crosse; nine grandchildren, Julia Koscianski, Charlie Koscianski, and Bryant (Shawna) Koscianski and their daughter, Emery, Ian, Logan, and Amelia Kuecker and Nathan, James, and Hayley Kuecker; one sister, Nancy (Bob) Kammel of La Crescent, Minn.; two brothers, Mike Potaracke of Colorado and Jerry (Margaret) Potaracke of St. Angelo, TX; a special niece, Lindsey; a special nephew, Dustin; many other nieces and nephews; two aunts, Theresa (Pat) McHenry of La Crosse and Sr. Rochelle Potaracke, FSPA of La Crosse; and many longtime friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her son, Ryan in 2014.

In accordance with Kathy's wishes, her body will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
