Obituary for Lena Amundson
Lena is survived by their children; Michael (Patricia Vacek) Amundson, Steve (Ann) Amundson, Annalisa (Finn) Johnson, and Linda (Joe) Brown; Eight grandchildren; Tonya Mikkelson, Shannon and Shane (Stephanie) Amundson, Nathan (Laura) and Zachary (Rachel Schultz) Johnson, Lance (Christina) and Spencer Brown, and Kianna (Anthony) Sutter; Four Step-grandchildren, Sarah, Kelsey, and Scott Johnson, and Jeff Bordes; Seven Great grandchildren, Damien (Lacy Holcomb). Deven, and Dalton (Ashley) Mikkelson, Sabrina Amundson, Sebastian Amundson, and Vivian and Olivia Johnson; One Great great grandchild; Greysyn Mikkelson.
Lena is also survived by; brother-in-law Jesse Hess and sister-in-law Jane Amundson. As well as she was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Eileen (Harold) Otto, Ann Lemke, Beatrice (Jerry) Drendel, and Theresa Hess, along with brothers Joseph (Mary) and Frederick Trussoni. She was a member of St. Mary and St. Teresa of Kolkata Catholic Parishes.
She had numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins that were special to her plus many dear friends. We would like to very sincerely thank Mary and Lesa from Hospice and Trinie for staying with her at times!
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 9, 2023, at St. Teresa's of Kolkata Catholic Parish, West Salem. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Bangor. A visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of mass, Saturday, at the church.
