Obituary for Susan Slindee

She was born June 6, 1959, in La Crosse to Harlin and Gladys (Fish) Slindee. Susan graduated from Faith Baptist School in La Crosse. She then attended college at Maranatha Baptist University.

Sue always enjoyed babysitting children. She worked at a nursing home in La Crosse. Sue was passionate about people; her favorite things to do were spending time with animals, loved collecting various items, crocheting, shopping, going to rummage sales, and gardening.

Survivors include her daughter, Rebeka Paul and family; her son, Jeremiah Paul and family; her mother, Gladys Pederson of La Crosse; Susan's ex-husband, Raymond Paul; her aunt and uncle, Ellen and Don Covert; her special uncle, Junior Klimek; her niece, Abby Klimek and family; her nephew, Bill (Berta) Klimek and family; and other nieces and nephews.

Susan was preceded in death by her father, Harlin Slindee; her step-father, Carroll Pederson; her sister, Debra Slindee; her two uncles, Ray Fish and Walter Fish; her grandma, Grace Turner; and her two dogs, Sofy and Happy.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2024 at Fredrickson Funeral Home and Crematory, Woodruff Chapel, 4239 Mormon Coulee Road, La Crosse, WI, 54601. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
