Obituary for William G. Korth

William's family was blessed with his presence for 12 days when he passed on September 23, 2024.

While in the NICU at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN, Sadie and Travis were able to check his temperature, change his diapers, feed him colostrum/breast milk, lay him on their chests, hold his hand, and tickle his little feet. William was able to enjoy books being read to him by his mommy and Grandma Korth as well. He was even beginning to open his eyes and look right at his mommy and daddy. He grew to be 1 lb. 13 oz. and 12.8 inches long. He was the most perfect thing to have blessed our family with. William was our little warrior, and will always be in our hearts.

William was preceded in death by his maternal great-granddaddy, Daniel “Rex” Rexford Williams Sr.; paternal great-grandparents, LuVerne and Beverly Korth, Larry Wiemerslage, and Lynda Wiemerslage.

William is survived by his mommy and daddy; maternal grandparents, Daniel and Christine Williams Jr.; paternal grandparents, Kevin and Wendy Korth; maternal great-grandparents, William and Mildred Mickett Jr., and Patricia Williams; aunts and uncles, Lindsey and Brad Gilberts, Kelsey and Derek Panos, Melissa and Shawn White, Fr. Daniel Williams, Grace Williams, and Sam Erickson; and cousins, Declan Gilberts, Norah Gilberts, Ryleigh Panos, Owen Panos, Marissa White, Mira White, Minerva White, and Malikai White.

A private burial service will be held. Fr. Daniel Williams will officiate. Those who wish to send flowers may do so through Under the Rust in West Salem.
