Obituary for Quinten N. Morris

He was born, June 22, 2002, in Schweinfurt, Germany, to Brad and Denys (Lucke) Morris. Quinten's father was a member of the armed forces so the first 13 years of his life were spent living with his family on various military posts before making West Salem their home.

Quinten was a 2020 graduate of West Salem High School. His first job was working at Big Boar BBQ and Catering in West Salem, followed by employment with Gillette Pepsi Company in La Crosse. In November of 2022, he and two of his brothers purchased Big Boar BBQ and Catering in West Salem, where he worked until the time of his passing.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his friends and family - often being the best dressed in the room, and gaming in his free time. Quinten was a proud and active member of the Berg-Hemker-Olson American Legion Post 51-Sons of the American Legion in West Salem.

Survivors include his parents, Brad and Denys Morris; siblings, Tylr (Christian) Sanders, Cody Morris, Kylee (Chance Mock) Morris, Logan Morris, and his twin brother, Carter (Aidyn Timm) Morris; four nephews, Elias Sanders, Hudson Sanders, Liam Mock, and Maddox Mock; one niece-on the way, Laila Quinn Morris; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Daisy Morris; maternal grandmother, Jackie Murphey; many special aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his friends, who became the family he chose.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Richard Lucke and John Wise.

A celebration of Quinten's life will be held from 10:00 a.m., until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Big Boar BBQ and Catering, 510 Commerce St., West Salem.

To all of the agencies and people who responded to the accident, our family extends our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude. Thank you for the exceptional care, dignity, and compassion you showed Quinten, and for the kindness, comforting words, steady presence, and support you extended to our family during such a difficult time.

Your professionalism and knowledge in handling such a tragic situation, along with your guidance in helping us navigate the immediate next steps, brought comfort and reassurance. The care you gave Quinten and the compassion you showed each of us will never be forgotten.

Some of you are people we know, while others we may never have the opportunity to meet. Regardless, please know that your actions made a lasting impact on our family. We will forever be grateful for the respect you showed Quinten and the grace you extended us. You will never be forgotten.

In Quinten's memory, the family encourages all motorcyclists to ride safely and remain aware of the roads, changing conditions, other drivers, and their surroundings. No matter how experienced or careful you are, life can change in a single, unexpected moment-even if you are doing everything right. Please ride with caution, look out for one another, and never take a single mile for granted.
